The home-based Super Eagles secured a 2-0 victory over Ojodu City in a friendly match held in Ikenne on Friday, DAILY POST reports.

Afeez Bankole and Anthony Ijeoma scored the goals for Eric Chelle’s team.

Earlier this week, the Eagles also recorded a 1-0 win against the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, in their first friendly.

The Eagles are ramping up preparations for the 2024 African Nations Championship, scheduled to take place next month in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

Currently, 28 players are competing for a spot on the final squad.

Head coach Chelle is expected to announce his final team for the biennial tournament next week.
